Conservation Framing
Every aspect of our conservation framing service is bespoke and each frame is specifically made for the individual item being framed. This time however, the process will be carried out by our Fine Arts Trade Guild Commended Framer.

Expertly crafted with the highest quality finish.
We use specialist conservation materials and methods to frame your artwork, allowing for permanent display while ensuring complete protection and making it possible to remove the piece from its frame without any alteration.
All our conservation mount boards are fully archival, made from high-quality paper that is neutral in pH (both lignin-free and acid-free), and is designed to resist ageing.
We exclusively use archival conservation mount boards, made from paper with a neutral pH—free from lignin and acid—to ensure resistance to ageing. Our selection includes a broad spectrum of vibrant colours, numerous neutral shades, and a range of different thicknesses.
Mounting

For our archival framing, we use 2.6mm conservation Corri Cor Plus backing board—a fully archival, robust, and rigid option featuring a water-resistant coating.

Before starting the framing process, we are always pleased to offer an artwork condition report. This service is especially valuable for high-value pieces that were previously framed or are being reframed by us, as it provides insights into items that may not have been examined outside of their frames before.
